Before cancer, Abdul, 52, lived an active and adventurous life, embracing martial arts, hiking, and horseback riding. But everything changed when he was diagnosed with stage 3 multiple myeloma. The physical toll of his illness left him drained, and the emotional burden of isolation added to the weight of his journey.
