Paulette H., 77, is living with metastatic breast cancer in rural Georgia. Living alone with limited access to resources, Paulette faced overwhelming challenges, including mounting medical bills and the emotional toll of her illness. Unable to work due to her condition, she sought financial relief, mental wellness support, and encouragement.
When Paulette joined We Are Here, we got to work. Partnering with the incredible team at Living Beyond Breast Cancer, we connected her with financial assistance that covered several months of living and transportation costs—easing her burden and allowing her to focus on her health.
