At We Are Here, we’re dedicated to easing the burdens of those facing cancer. One of the most inspiring stories from our community is that of Stephanie, a 60-year-old woman living with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).
Stephanie lives in Louisiana and was struggling to keep her gas and electricity on while managing her cancer diagnosis. When she joined We Are Here, she shared her urgent need for financial assistance. Our team quickly connected her to grants that helped cover her utilities, lifting a significant weight off her shoulders.
